Kelowna General Hospital

Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) is a tertiary hospital located in Kelowna, B.C. The hospital first opened its doors in 1908, and has since received multiple upgrades and modernizations making it a 440 bed facility with capabilities to provide state of the art vascular surgery care including open vascular surgery, hybrid procedures, endovascular interventions, wound care and minor procedures. There are 15 operating theaters with 1 hybrid operating suite in the main operating room area. Post-operatively, the majority of vascular surgery patients are looked after by our nursing team on the 3 East ward with the help of our dedicated nurse practitioner.

The vascular surgery team also looks after patients on the second floor ambulatory care clinic for new wound assessment and consultation, and ongoing wound care to provide the best patient-focused care.
